Some of our main activities include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Collecting comprehensive primary and secondary data<\/li>\n<li>Publishing quarterly key socio-economic indicators and bi-annual macroeconomic updates<\/li>\n<li>Conducting academic and policy research on topics including monetary and fiscal policy, trade, investment, finance, agriculture, industry, services, small and medium enterprises (SMEs), health, education, poverty, gender, science and technology, urban amenities and smart cities, climate change, and the environment<\/li>\n<li>Observing mega trends, and geopolitical and security contextual changes<\/li>\n<li>Providing policy input<\/li>\n<li>Publishing and disseminating research products<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Our work benefits a wide variety of stakeholders in Cambodia and the region, including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Policy makers (Government, National Assembly, and Senate)<\/li>\n<li>Private sector and business community<\/li>\n<li>Development partners and foreign embassies<\/li>\n<li>Non-government organizations<\/li>\n<li>Academics and students<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Partnership with Ponlok Chomnes<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Funded by Australia\u2019s Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) through The Asia Foundation, CSIP is implementing a research project on \u201c<strong>The Introduction of the Private Sector\u2019s Pension Scheme in Cambodia: Readiness and Its Impact on Social Welfare.<\/strong>\u201d This research aims to better understand the public\u2019s awareness and perception of and reaction to the introduction of a pension scheme in Cambodia. It will also assess the readiness of employers and employees for the implementation of the scheme and will identify the potential challenges\/burdens for employers, including the 2% to be paid by employers. Lastly, the research will provide policy options for the government to consider, which could potentially offset the cost increase for implementing the pension scheme.<\/p>\n<p>Please click <a
