A recent High-Level Policy Dialogue on Water Governance in Cambodia, hosted by Ponlok Chomnes’ Strategic Partner, the Cambodia Development Resource Institute (CDRI), in collaboration with the Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology brought together over 80 government officials, researchers, development partners, and regional experts to examine pressing water security challenges facing the Mekong region and Cambodia. 

Key highlights included:
• Strengthening water security in the Mekong River and Tonle Sap ecosystems
• Enhancing multi-stakeholder coordination for effective water governance
• The critical role of quality evidence in shaping national and regional policies
• Shared commitments between Australia and Cambodia to advance sustainable, climate-resilient development
