From silence to stage, stories that are often unheard are finding powerful new voices through Chhloh Theater
Winner of the Inclusive Dialogue Award, Chhloh Theater continues to inspire communities through participatory performances that shine a light on important social issues — from LGBTQI discrimination and the experiences of persons with disabilities to the realities faced by GBV survivors.
By transforming lived experiences into community-driven theatre, Chhloh Theater creates safe spaces for dialogue, healing, understanding, and change. Their work reminds us that inclusive dialogue does not only happen in meeting rooms — it can happen on stage, in communities, and through the power of storytelling.
We are proud to see this impactful work featured in Kiripost’s latest article: “From Silence to Stage: How Lakhon Chhloh Brings Marginalised Stories to Light.”
The Inclusive Awards 2025 is supported by the Australian Government through The Asia Foundation’s Ponlok Chomnes II: Data and Dialogue for Development in Cambodia program
