The Asia Foundation and Center for Policy Studies co-hosted a virtual workshop on July 16, 2021, to engage key policymakers and policy practitioners to discuss the findings from the study. The research study was conducted through three rounds of surveys from July 2020-April 2021. The report compares the results across the three survey rounds and draws conclusions regarding how COVID-19 has affected tourism sector MSMEs in different regions of Cambodia. It also analyzes trends in the broader context of Cambodia’s public health and economic situation. Based on its analyses, this report offers some recommendations to relevant stakeholders in the short- and long term.

This virtual workshop was initiated by The Asia Foundation’s Ponlok Chomnes: Data and Dialogue for Development in Cambodia program, supported by the Australian Government Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT).
