  • Date: Monday, 1 April 2024 8:00 am > Wednesday, 30 April 2025 5:00 pm
  • Location: Battambang province, Cambodia

We would like to introduce the first of our four new Ponlok Chomnes Innovation Partners – Analyzing Development Issues Centre

The Ponlok Chomnes program is delighted to highlight research to be undertaken by one of our new innovation partners, Analyzing Development Issues Centre.

ADIC will conduct research on “Building youth capacity in participatory research to engage in sub-national development planning on safe cross-border migration from Cambodia to Thailand. The research will be conducted through comprehensive training on migration issues, mock sessions to practice influencing commune councils, and utilising communication materials to advocate for community needs. Ultimately, the goal is to ensure that youth play a significant role in local decision-making processes, leading to more inclusive and effective development initiatives. Its significance lies in ADIC’s exploration of new approaches to inform local policymakers about pressing issues with an emphasis on sustainable development outcomes.

Research has now commenced, stay tuned for more about this interesting new project!
