Our delegation, comprising 14 members from Cambodia’s knowledge sector and civil society organizations, alongside representatives from Australian Embassy, Cambodia Australia Awards Cambodia and The Asia Foundation Cambodia, was set to attend the prestigious 2023 Australasian Aid Conference in Canberra #AAC2023 from December 5-7, followed by a study tour in Melbourne.

Additionally, the delegation was invited by the Cambodian Ambassador to Australia, H.E. Dr. Cheunboran Chanborey, to join a dinner reception at his residence together with Ms. Caroline Linke, Assistant Secretary of DFAT’s Vietnam and Mekong Strategy Branch, the delegation from the Office of the Council of Ministers, the Council for the Development of Cambodia, and other ministries.

Thanks to the generous support of DFAT’s Mekong Australia Partnership program, this tour marks a significant milestone in our journey. As we embark on Ponlok Chomnes II, our focus remains on enhancing public policy decisions in #Cambodia through evidence-based and inclusive dialogues.

We look forward to sharing our experiences and learnings from this tour and conference, as we continue to promote inclusive dialogue and evidence-based policymaking.
