SheThinks Network: Strengthening Women’s Leadership in Research

On 3 October 2025, SheThinks Network and Ponlok Chomnes co-hosted the SheThinks Open House 2025, bringing together over 50 women researchers and practitioners — along with representatives from the GEDSI Consortium, Strategic Partners, Ministry of Women’s Affairs, and Australian Embassy to celebrate progress, renew commitments, and explore new pathways to strengthen women’s leadership in knowledge sector in Cambodia.

The Open House marked an important milestone for the network as it:

• Launched the new SheThinks Network logo, symbolising renewal and unity
• Introduced five core programs designed to strengthen women’s leadership and collaboration in research
• Facilitated interactive breakout sessions to exchange ideas and co-develop actions for the network’s next steps, and
• Showcased members’ work through a creative Research Gallery, highlighting women’s research contributions across disciplines.

SheThinks Network also opened opportunities for all participants to join the #SheDoes and #SheSupports teams, taking active roles in advancing programs, sharing skills, and strengthening the network’s mission. The Open House reaffirmed SheThinks’ commitment to an inclusive and collaborative research space that amplifies women’s voices and drives gender equality in Cambodia.
