On March 25, 2026, a Provincial Public Forum was held in Pursat Province, organised by People’s Action for Inclusive Development (PAfID), Ponlok Chomnes Innovation Partner, bringing together persons with disabilities and provincial leaders in an open and respectful dialogue.

The forum gathered more than 100 participants, including members of Organizations of Persons with Disabilities (OPDs) and government representatives, to exchange perspectives on the barriers in accessing IDPoor and Family Package programs.

Through an Inclusive Dialogue approach, the event helped strengthen communication between communities and decision-makers. A moving testimony from a deaf woman, along with an engaging panel discussion involving the Provincial Disability Action Council (PDAC) and key provincial departments, helped validate findings from recent research.

By working together, PAfID is helping advance Cambodia’s National Disability Strategic Plan (2024–2028) and Social Protection Policy Framework—promoting a more inclusive future for all.
