As part of the Ponlok Chomnes Policy Engagement Fund, Cambodian Disabled People’s Organisation (CDPO) collaborates with the Ministry of Public Works and Transport (MPWT) to implement a project on “Enhancing Disability Inclusion on Land Transportation”. This project will develop disability guidelines for public land transportation by mapping and selecting the target transport modes, assessing the accessibility needs, reviewing the international and regional standards, and engaging with relevant stakeholders. The project aims to expand disability-inclusive land transport standards in Cambodia, strengthen evidence-informed policymaking through the experiences of persons with disabilities, and promote multi-stakeholder collaboration to ensure practical and inclusive implementation.
This project is supported by the Australian Government (Australian Embassy, Cambodia) through The Asia Foundation’s Ponlok Chomnes II: Data and Dialogue for Development in Cambodia program.
