GEDSI Training Series 2: Gender Equality, Disability, and Social Inclusion

The Ponlok Chomnes program, in collaboration with the GEDSI Consortium, recently hosted the second series of two-day training workshop on “Gender Equality, Disability, and Social Inclusion” held on 29-30 April 2024. The training aimed to equip colleagues from the Strategic Partners to refresh and reflect on the first training series, while strengthening knowledge of GEDSI concepts, including intersectionality, power dynamics, and tips for inclusive research.

Expected outcomes included:

– Enhanced understanding of GEDSI terminology and core components.

– Increased awareness of intersectionality and its relevance to GEDSI.

– Insights into power dynamics, privilege, and inclusive research tools.

– Improved integration of GEDSI into participants’ daily work practices.
