On 27 March 2026, Ponlok Chomnes and SheThinks Network co-convened a sharing session on: “From Barriers to Breakthroughs: Women Researchers in Cambodia’s Research and Policy Ecosystem” bringing together over 40 participants, including members of Technical Steering Committee, researchers, and members of SheThinks Network.
In commemoration of International Women’s Day 2026, this sharing session aimed to facilitate the exchange of insights on the experiences, challenges, and opportunities encountered by women researchers, as well as to promote dialogue between researchers and policymakers to strengthen women’s leadership and participation. Furthermore, the discussion sought to advance the integration of Gender Equality, Disability, and Social Inclusion (GEDSI) within Cambodia’s knowledge ecosystem.
At Ponlok Chomnes, we work with our partners to promote women’s participation (and other excluded groups) in policy research and dialogue processes.
