Ponlok Chomnes Program would like to share the outcomes report on “ Highlights from Open Data Day 2024 and National Open Data Conference 2024” by Open Development Cambodia, which is Ponlok Chomnes Collaboration Partner.

In March 2024, Cambodia hosted two pivotal events aimed at promoting open data for inclusive and sustainable development. Organised by Open Development Cambodia in collaboration with Ponlok Chomnes Program, these events brought together a wide range of stakeholders, including government officials and underrepresented communities. Open Data Day 2024, featuring a hackathon as a central activity, saw youth innovators devising solutions to enhance open data and inclusion. The National Open Data Conference underscored the significance of government data in promoting transparency and accountability. Both events sought to raise public awareness, foster collaboration, and advance Cambodia’s open data agenda.
