Strengthening STEM Education in Cambodia: Why Teacher Professional Development Matters

Through our Strategic Partner, CDRI, this blog shares insights from the study on strengthening STEM education and building the country’s future workforce.

Following a significant decline in upper secondary science track enrolment—falling to just 32% in 2025–2026—Cambodia faces an urgent need to close the skills gap with regional neighbors. The blog explores the opportunities and challenges of teaching, highlighting why continuous professional development (CPD) is critical to equipping educators and inspiring tomorrow’s workforce.
