Ponlok Chomnes “Give to Gain” Campaign #6: Empowering Women Researchers to Shape Policy and Development in Cambodia
Mr. Chhum Rathany joins Ponlok Chomnes in celebrating International Women’s Day 2026 under the “Give to Gain” campaign.
Mr. Chhum Rathany, a researcher at Center for Policy Studies (CPS), shared how CPS is dedicated to advancing gender equality through two strategic pillars such as championing equal opportunity and engaging women directly in research.
According to a project in Kampong Thom province, it found that women have a high capacity to reduce costs. These findings provide concrete evidence to local authorities to make decisions and to inform national policy to enhance meaningful and effective engagement of women across all levels of society.
At Ponlok Chomnes, we work with our partners to promote women’s participation (and other excluded groups) in policy research and dialogue processes.
