Sharing Session #2: Overview of Cambodia’s Nationally Determined Contribution 3.0 (NDC 3.0)

Held on 9 May 2025, The Ponlok Chomnes Sharing Session #2 brought together partners across network and deepened their understanding of Cambodia’s NDC 3.0 process, gathered inputs, and explored opportunities for inclusive, evidence-based engagement in climate policy.

Presentations and discussions addressed the NDC’s ambition, acceleration, and inclusivity pillars; GEDSI integration and the role of think tanks and civil society. Participants shared recommendations on renewable energy, climate resilience, food systems, social protection, green skills, WASH, and disability inclusion, alongside the need for robust tracking tools, capacity building, and greater outreach.

The session concluded with a shared commitment to strengthen collaboration among stakeholders and supporting the development of Cambodia’s NDC 3.0 through inclusive, evidence-based approaches. Insights and recommendations gathered will inform ongoing dialogue and help ensure that climate policies are responsive to the diverse needs of communities.
