On May 22, 2026, National Institute of Statistics organised a “Consultive Workshop with Stakeholders on Inputs to Validate Findings of the Assessment on Data Needs in the National Statistical System and the Draft National Strategy for the Development of Statistics”, bringing together over 100 participants, including government, policymakers, civil society orgaisation, thinktanks, universities, and the private sector.

The workshop aimed to review and assess the current national statistical system, while gathering key feedback and inputs from all stakeholders to enrich the draft strategy, to ensure it comprehensively responds to the actual needs of data users and policymakers for the development of Cambodia’s statistical sector.
