What will it take to build a stronger, more connected knowledge ecosystem in Cambodia?
On 4 November 2026, the National Policy Forum 2026, convened by the Ponlok Chomnes Program, brought together representatives from government, research institutions, academia, civil society, and development partners to help shape priorities for Cambodia’s knowledge future.
Through panel discussions and roundtable exchanges, participants identified practical ways to:
- Sustain credible, high-quality research
- Strengthen sustainable financing for the knowledge sector
- Invest in the next generation of Cambodian researchers
- Build stronger connections between research and policymaking
The result: the Forum strengthened a common vision for a more connected, inclusive, and resilient knowledge ecosystem—one that brings evidence, dialogue, and collaboration closer to the heart of policymaking.
Thank you to every speaker, participant, and partner who contributed ideas, experience, and momentum to this important conversation.
The National Policy Forum 2026 is supported by the Australian Government through Ponlok Chomnes II: Data and Dialogue for Development in Cambodia and implemented by The Asia Foundation.
