Exclusive Interview #6 | Training of Trainers on Inclusive Dialogue

We are pleased to release this exclusive interview series #6 from the Training of Trainers (ToT) on Inclusive Dialogue, featuring Ms. Kong Malin from National of School of Local Administration, who shared her key learnings and insights from the training.

How can inclusive dialogue help shape a better decision and stronger communities? Through this interview, we explore how the ToT strengthens the capacity of future trainers in advancing more inclusive and participatory local governance.

Ms. Malin emphasised that inclusive dialogue means ensuring the meaningful participation of all groups in decision-making processes. Her key takeaway from the training was the principle, “Nothing about us, without us”, which highlights the importance of including all stakeholders in decision-making. She also emphasised that inclusive dialogue helps local authorities better understand community needs, leading to more effective, responsive planning and public service delivery.
