Networking events

The Asia Foundation’s Ponlok Chomnes hosted a Networking Event and Workshop on “Research Ethics and Data Intermediaries” on Thursday, 24 November 2022. This workshop aimed to seek input and comments from participants on a Feasibility Study on Data Intermediaries and Think Tanks/Research Association in Cambodia, to disseminate research ethics adopted by the National Council of Science, Technology & Innovation, as well as to increase the network with relevant stakeholders, offer opportunities for participants to exchange ideas, and expand engagement and contributions to the knowledge sector. The workshop convened a total of 86 participants with nearly 30% women, who are mostly researchers, representatives from non-government organizations, think tanks, academia, and the ministries.

This workshop was supported by the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (Australian Embassy, Cambodia) through The Asia Foundation’s Ponlok Chomnes: Data and Dialogue for Development in Cambodia program.
