Policy Forum

The Asia Foundation’s Ponlok Chomnes Program in collaboration with its partners, co-hosted the National Policy Forum on “Strengthening Resilience and Responses to COVID-19 in Cambodia and ASEAN” on October 26, 27, 2022. This hybrid event convened over 150 participants representing national and sub-national government, local NGOs, researchers, members of the diplomatic corps, private sector, think tanks, and knowledge producers to showcase their research, discuss, exchange knowledge, and network with participants.

The Forum touched upon a number of issues in Cambodia and ASEAN based on various research and case studies as well as sought recommendations to strengthen economy, agriculture, education, public service, urban development, food security, social protection, and others.

This National Policy Forum was supported by the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (Australian Embassy, Cambodia) through The Asia Foundation’s Ponlok Chomnes: Data and Dialogue for Development in Cambodia program.
