A Community Dialogue: Climate Change, Gender, and the Mekong

On 21 November 2024, Ponlok Chomnes Strategic Partner,@Cambodian Institute for Cooperation and Peace held a dialogue focusing on “Climate Change, Gender, and the Mekong” which gathered key local and regional stakeholders from various ministries, delegates from foreign embassies in Phnom Penh, think tanks, universities, and civil society organisations.

Amidst the intensified effects of climate change in the Mekong Subregion have towards all sectors of society, especially the rural communities

The Ponlok Chomnes program identifies collaborative and inclusive dialogue as critical for the development of evidence-informed public policy in Cambodia. Inclusive dialogue will ensure diverse voices are integrated into the decision-making.
