Ponlok Chomnes Innovation Partner, My Village Organisation, was able to successfully include otherwise underrepresented groups in its research process.

On 18 February 2025, MVi held a validation workshop to ensure its research findings are aligned with relevant stakeholders. The research focused on commune budget allocation towards environmental resilience in Stung Treng province, Cambodia.

MVi engaged with local authorities and community representatives in discussions to build consensus on climate resilience challenges. Participants actively provided valuable feedback, and a consensus was reached, with each community raising its specific challenges and needs.

The Ponlok Chomnes Innovation Fund supports local initiatives by addressing specific local issues through collaboration between civil society organisations and local authorities. 

The Ponlok Chomnes Innovation Fund is funded by the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (Australian Embassy, Cambodia) and through Ponlok Chomnes: Data and Dialogue for Development in Cambodia.
