The Asia Foundation’s Ponlok Chomnes program and Vicheasthan Bomreu Neak Samrabsamroul Karngea Akphiwat Institute (VBNK) conducted a Virtual Dissemination Workshop on April 21, 2022. The workshop presented draft findings on “The ICT Challenges of Including the Voices of Marginalized Citizens in Democratic Decision-making Processes in Cambodia Arising from COVID-19 Conditions in the Country.” The workshop aimed to seek comments, feedback, and input from interested stakeholders to refine the final report.

This study has been undertaken to provide a contemporary and comprehensive understanding of the main challenges resulting from COVID-19 conditions faced by the sub-national administrations and NGOs in engaging their constituents and communities in decentralization and deconcentrating processes.

This dissemination workshop was supported by the Australian Government’s Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (Australian Embassy, Cambodia) through The Asia Foundation’s Ponlok Chomnes: Data and Dialogue for Development in Cambodia program.
