National Action Plan on Violence Against Women 2014-2018 (Second NAPVAW)

This National Action Plan aims to eliminate all forms of discrimination and violence against women and children. It lays down key strategies to prevent violence against women that is still a key barrier preventing women from participating in social development. Among others, it is a legal framework for the government to protect victims and translating commitment in real life in promoting gender equality in the society. It includes primary prevention, legal protection, multi-sectoral services, capacity building, and impact assessment. This also includes the M&E system to monitor the progress of the national plan itself.
