Australia is investing in Cambodia’s emerging policy leaders by supporting young researchers to strengthen their skills in policy analysis and strategic engagement.

With the Australian Government’s support, delivered by The Asia Foundation, the Center for Khmer Studies’ Ponlok Chomnes Fellowship Program is equipping early-career researchers with the tools they need to meaningfully contribute to Cambodia’s development.

Meet Ms Heang Borei, a research fellow at the Center for Khmer Studies, and hear how the program has enhanced her work advancing gender equality in higher education.

Her research explores feminism in Cambodia’s modern history and identify pathways for inclusive education reform.
