Ponlok Chomnes Policy Engagement Partner, the Cooperation Committee for Cambodia (CCC), in collaboration with the Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training (MLVT) and other relevant stakeholders, co-hosted the 2nd Labour Economics Conference, under the theme: “Shaping the Future of Work: Skills, Employment, and Social Protection for a Resilient Labour Market in Cambodia” on 15–16 December 2025, bringing together over 350 participants, including senior government officials, international organisations, employers’ associations, trade unions, academics, TVET institutions, civil society, and development partners. 

This conference aimed to act as a national platform to exchange evidence-based insights on labor market transformation, build strategies for future proofing Cambodia’s labor force through innovation, explore the role of the National Social Security Fund (NSSF), and foster collaboration among key actors in Cambodia and across ASEAN.
