On 29 July 2026, in collaboration with stakeholders from communes, schools, health centers, universities, and NGOs, NAS co-conducted a workshop on inclusive forum and effective development at the sub-national level in Kampong Cham Province, bringing together 32 participants.

The workshop created a space for local stakeholders to reflect on achievements, share practical experiences, and identify key lessons for future implementation. Key discussion highlights included the successful completion of planned activities across all targeted communes, as well as practical strategies for promoting inclusive citizen participation and improving access to ID-Poor cards for vulnerable households.

Participants exchanged insights on cross-sector collaboration, shared updates on progress, and reaffirmed their commitment to working together to strengthen local governance. The workshop also provided a space for shared learning, inclusive participation, and stronger collaboration between local authorities and community partners to support sustainable local development.

The Ponlok Chomnes Innovation Fund supports local initiatives by addressing specific local issues through collaboration between civil society organisations and local authorities​ to promote inclusive and meaningful community participation.
