On March 17, 2022, The Asia Foundation’s Ponlok Chomnes had a great pleasure to host the Official Launch of SheThinks Network, a platform for women researchers to convene, share knowledge, and address the gender disparity within the research community in Cambodia, by empowering and amplifying women’s voices in research and make the research space more inclusive.

The Official Launch was presided over by a number of honorable guests, including H.E. Dr. Ing Kantha Phavi, Minister of Ministry of Women’s Affairs; H.E. Tean Samnang, President of National Institute of Diplomacy and International Relations; H.E. Pablo Kang, Australian Ambassador to Cambodia; H.E. Tina Redshaw, British Ambassador to Cambodia; H.E. Dr. Devyani Uttam Khobragade, Indian Ambassador to Cambodia; Mr. David D. Arnold, President of The Asia Foundation; and over 60 distinguished guests, who were junior and senior researchers, representatives from foreign missions to Cambodia, and other inspiring civil society leaders in Cambodia.
