Announcements

The Australian Embassy and The Asia Foundation hosted the launch of “Ponlok Chomnes II: Data and Dialogue for Development in Cambodia Program” on 15 November 2023. The event welcomed about 90 participants (about 30% women), representing governmental and non-governmental agencies, local organisations, the private sector, SheThinks Network members, and academia.

The event introduced the Program’s objectives, strategy, and partners; highlighted program alignment with Cambodia’s development agenda; motivated stakeholders for active engagement; expressed appreciation for the former Ponlok Chomnes I Technical Advisory Council, partner contributions and encourage ongoing support; and launched initiatives – the Innovation Fund, and the Program website.​

This event was supported by the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (Australian Embassy, Cambodia) through The Asia Foundation’s Ponlok Chomnes II: Data and Dialogue for Development in Cambodia program.
