Sharing sessions

On 5 February 2025, Ponlok Chomnes held a kickoff meeting with the National Institute of Statistics (NIS), Cambodia, to discuss Ponlok Chomnes’ technical assistance in the development of the National Strategy for the Development of Statistics (NSDS). The meeting convened a total of 22 participants, including 18 NIS officials (6 female), 2 Ponlok Chomnes team members, and 2 national consultants. 

The meeting centered around introducing key consultants, providing updates on assessments, events, and NSDS progress, and clarifying roles, responsibilities, and next steps to ensure effective collaboration.
 

Through collaboration between the government and civil society organisations (CSOs), this initiative will enhance multistakeholder engagement and ensure that all voices are heard and equally contribute to the process of NSDS development.
