Among many other developments at ministerial level during this quarter, the Ministry of Industry and Handicraft discusses a plan to expand the coverage of clean water supply across the country, particularly areas considered to be more populated than others. In Cambodia, about 20 percent of residents in rural areas get access to clean water, and up to 70 percent in central populated areas. The ministry aims that by 2025
