SheThinks Network Members to Present Research at #AAC2024

We would like to send a warm congratulatory message to three members from SheThinks Network, who got their papers selected to present at the Annual Australasian AID Conference 2024 on their research findings related to Cambodia.

The 2024 Australasian AID Conference (AAC2024) will be held at the Crawford School of Public Policy, Australian National University on 3-5 December 2024, with the aim of bringing together researchers from across Australia, the Pacific, Asia, and beyond who are working on aid and international development policy to share insights, promote collaboration, and help develop the research community.

Three members from SheThinks Network will present their research papers at the conferences as listed below.

  • Ms. Sophany San: “Empowering Women in Leadership Positions through Development Aid: Evidence from Female Councillors and Female Civil Servants at the Sub-National Level in Three Provinces in Cambodia.”
  • Ms. Bun Phoury: “Bridging the Information Divide: Addressing the Information Divide for Persons with Disabilities in Cambodia.”
  • Ms. You SaoKeo Khantey: “A Mixed-Methods Study on Women’s Participation in Post-Secondary STEM Education and Careers in Cambodia.

The trip to AAC2024 is jointly supported by the Australia Awards Scholarship (AAS). We’re excited and can’t wait to see the valuable contributions they’ll bring to the network!
